Privacy Policy — LeaseSync

For material changes, we will update the Effective Date on this page. Where we hold your email address, we will notify you of material changes by email.

1. Introduction

LeaseSync is operated by N Plus, LLC ("Company"), a New Mexico limited liability company. When we refer to "LeaseSync," "we," "us," "our," or the "Company" in this policy, we mean N Plus, LLC and its operations.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service (leasesync.app) and the choices you have associated with that data.

2. Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

When using LeaseSync, we may collect:

  • Email address (if you receive results by email)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers)

Uploaded Files

  • PDF documents you upload for lease extraction are processed in-memory and never stored on our servers. Only the extracted text (not the original PDF) is temporarily retained in secure cloud storage.
  • Metadata about uploaded files (filename, upload timestamp, file size)

Usage Data

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Referring/exit pages
  • Device identifiers

Analytics

LeaseSync uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, general location, browser type, device type). Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information. No analytics data is sold or shared with third parties.

Cookies

LeaseSync does not use tracking cookies. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process; see Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

3. Use of Data

LeaseSync uses collected data for:

  • Processing your uploads and generating extracted data
  • Sending extraction results via email (if requested)
  • Processing payments via Stripe
  • Improving our Service and understanding usage patterns
  • Complying with legal obligations
  • Detecting and preventing fraud

4. Storage & Retention of Uploaded Files

PDF Files (Uploads): Uploaded PDF files are processed in memory to extract their text content and are never stored on our servers. Only the extracted text (not the original PDF) is temporarily retained in secure cloud storage for 7 days to enable result delivery, then automatically deleted.

Extraction Results: Extracted data is stored in our database with a 30-day retention period. After 30 days, extraction results are automatically purged.

Email Records: Email delivery logs are retained for up to 90 days to troubleshoot delivery issues.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing (see Stripe's privacy policy)
  • Resend — for email delivery (see Resend's privacy policy)
  • Anthropic — uploaded lease text is transmitted to Anthropic's API for AI-powered extraction (see Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy)
  • Law enforcement — if required by law or in good faith belief it is necessary to comply with the law

6. Third-Party AI Processing

LeaseSync uses Anthropic's Claude AI to extract structured data from uploaded lease documents. Lease text is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing and is available at anthropic.com/privacy.

7. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. For material changes, we will update the Effective Date on this page. Where we hold your email address, we will notify you of material changes by email.

10. GDPR Compliance (EU Users)

If you are located in the EU, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Data portability

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect and how it is used; (2) request deletion of their personal information; (3) opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data). To exercise these rights, contact us at support@leasesync.app. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.
